How much does a typical project cost?
It depends on scope, but as honest reference points: focused business websites and automation tools often land between ₹1–3 lakh, MVPs and mobile apps between ₹3–8 lakh, and full SaaS platforms or ERP implementations upward of that. Our AI estimator gives you a personalised ballpark in a minute, and every engagement starts with a fixed, itemised proposal — no surprises mid-project.
How long will my project take?
A focused MVP typically ships in 8–14 weeks; mobile apps in 10–16; ERP rollouts in 8–14. We work in two-week sprints with a live demo at the end of each one, so you see real progress from the second week — not a big reveal at the end.
Do you work with clients outside India?
Yes. We're based in Bengaluru and work with clients across time zones — async-friendly communication, recorded demos, and overlap hours agreed upfront. Contracts and billing are available in INR or USD.
Who owns the code and IP?
You do. On full payment, all project deliverables — source code, designs, documentation — are yours, transferred to your repositories and accounts. We retain only our pre-existing tools and frameworks, which stay licensed to you for the project.
What happens after launch?
Every build includes a hyper-care window after go-live. Beyond that, most clients continue on a managed-services plan: monitoring, patching, backups and a support desk with clear SLAs — or roadmap sprints when there's more to build. We also inherit and stabilise systems other vendors built.
Can you take over an existing or half-finished project?
Yes — rescue work is a speciality. We start with a technical audit, stabilise what's fragile, document what's undocumented, and only then propose the rebuild-vs-repair path with costs for each. You get an honest engineering opinion before spending anything on development.

Who we are

Softings is a full-stack IT solutions studio. We design, engineer and operate software for businesses that want technology to be a competitive advantage rather than a cost centre. Our work spans custom software, mobile applications, SaaS platforms, AI assistants and chatbots, managed IT and enterprise ERP & CRM — and we run two SaaS products of our own, Formspry and SignSpry.

That last part matters. Because we operate production software every day, we approach client work like owners: we obsess over reliability, we design for the person on the other side of the screen, and we never ship something we wouldn't want to maintain ourselves.

This Privacy Policy explains how Softings ("Softings", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit our website, contact us, or use our products and services, including Formspry and SignSpry. We are committed to handling your data lawfully, transparently and in line with applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Information we collect

  • Information you give us — name, email address, phone number, company details and project information when you fill our contact form, request an estimate, subscribe to updates or sign up for our products.
  • Product data — content you create or upload in Formspry (forms, responses) and SignSpry (documents, signatures, audit events). You control this content; we process it to provide the service.
  • Usage data — pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location derived from IP address, and interactions with our site, collected via cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).
  • Communications — emails, chat messages (including conversations with our on-site assistant) and call notes when you interact with us.

2. How we use information

  • To respond to enquiries, prepare proposals and deliver contracted services.
  • To provide, maintain, secure and improve our website and products.
  • To send service communications and, with your consent, marketing updates (you can opt out at any time).
  • To analyse aggregate usage so we can improve performance and content.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

3. Legal bases

Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data on the bases of consent, performance of a contract, legitimate interests (such as securing our services and improving our website) and compliance with legal obligations. Under the DPDP Act, we process personal data for the purposes you have consented to, and for certain legitimate uses permitted by law.

4. Sharing

We never sell personal data. We share it only with: (a) service providers who help us run our business (hosting, analytics, email, payments) under confidentiality obligations; (b) professional advisers where necessary; (c) authorities where required by law; and (d) a successor entity in the event of a merger or acquisition, subject to this policy.

5. Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described above, to comply with legal, accounting or reporting requirements, or to resolve disputes. Product data in Formspry and SignSpry is retained per your account settings and deleted or returned on verified request when an account closes.

6. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege administration and regular reviews. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, update, port or erase your personal data, to withdraw consent, to object to or restrict certain processing, to nominate a representative (DPDP Act) and to complain to a supervisory authority or the Data Protection Board of India. To exercise any right, email hello@softings.in — we respond within the timelines required by applicable law.

8. International transfers

Our infrastructure providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where data crosses borders, we use appropriate safeguards such as contractual protections and transfer only to jurisdictions permitted under applicable law.

9. Children

Our website and services are intended for business users and are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect children's personal data; if you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Softings website and, together with any signed proposal, statement of work or subscription agreement, our services and products including Formspry and SignSpry. By using our website or services you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

"Softings" refers to Softings, [legal entity name and registration to be inserted], with its principal place of business in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Contact: hello@softings.in.

2. Use of the website

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to attempt unauthorised access, disrupt the site, scrape content at scale, or use it to transmit malicious code. Content on this site is provided for general information and does not constitute professional advice.

3. Services and deliverables

Specific engagements are governed by a written proposal or statement of work ("SOW") describing scope, deliverables, fees, timelines and acceptance criteria. If these Terms conflict with a signed SOW, the SOW prevails for that engagement. Estimates — including those produced by our on-site AI estimator — are indicative only and not binding offers.

4. Fees and payment

Fees, billing schedules and payment terms are set out in the applicable SOW or subscription plan. Unless stated otherwise, invoices are payable within the period stated on the invoice, and late amounts may accrue interest as permitted by law. Taxes such as GST are additional unless expressly included.

5. Intellectual property

Upon full payment, clients receive the rights to project deliverables as defined in the SOW. Softings retains ownership of its pre-existing materials, tools, frameworks and know-how, and of Formspry, SignSpry and all related IP. We may reference non-confidential aspects of completed work in our portfolio unless agreed otherwise.

6. Product subscriptions

Formspry and SignSpry are provided on a subscription basis under their respective plan terms. You retain ownership of content you upload; you grant us the limited rights needed to host and process it to provide the service. You are responsible for the lawfulness of content you collect through our products.

7. Confidentiality

Each party will protect the other's confidential information with at least reasonable care and use it only for the purposes of the engagement. This obligation survives termination.

8. Warranties and disclaimers

We warrant that services will be performed with professional skill and care. Except as expressly stated, the website and products are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and each party's aggregate liability arising out of an engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate an engagement as set out in the SOW, or immediately for material breach not cured within 30 days of notice. On termination, you pay for work performed to date, and clauses intended to survive (IP, confidentiality, liability) survive.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any dispute-resolution process agreed in an SOW.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the website after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. For signed engagements, changes apply only if agreed in writing.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Project services

Custom development engagements are governed by their statement of work. Advance payments cover mobilisation and reserved capacity and are non-refundable once work has begun, except as stated in the SOW. If you cancel an engagement, you pay for work completed and expenses committed up to the cancellation date; any unused advance beyond that is refunded within 30 days.

2. Product subscriptions (Formspry & SignSpry)

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation stops future renewals, and you retain access until the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law or where we fail to provide the service materially as described — in which case contact hello@softings.in and we will make it right, including pro-rata refunds where appropriate.

3. How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7–14 business days of approval. Taxes are refunded as permitted by law.
